=========================================== Date: 12, 13 Sept 2008 Venue: JW Marriott, Juhu, MUMBAI Date: 19, 20 Sept 2008 Venue: TAJ Westend, Bangalore ------------------------------------------------------- Objective In a competitive environment, managers have little control over price, which is external to the firm. Contemporary cost management models consider the trade off between price and costs. This programme aims to provide an understanding of contemporary cost management techniques. In addition, this programme will help managers to develop skills for the use of cost information for decision making. Target participants ----------------------- # Non-finance executives operating in different functional areas will find the programme useful. # Managers with a few years of experience will gain most from the programme. # The programme presumes no previous knowledge of accounting.
