Special menu for the food fest will boast of sea food and other recipes unfamiliar and rare to Bangalorean taste buds. Bangalore, August 14, 2008: Kubay, a boutique restaurant (located on Koramangala club road), known for its home style coastal cuisine, is having a "Konkan Food Fest" from August 21st to 24th. The chef and his team have created a special menu for the food fest which will boast of sea food and other recipes unfamiliar and rare to Bangalorean taste buds. Like Sumta Chi Kadi, Shark Ambotic, Caldine Fish Curry, Prawn Bulchao, Chicken Cafreal, Pork Snake Gourd and Egg Indad amongst others. The dishes can be savoured with rice, panpoles, sannas or idiappams. The fest is a must for true sea food lovers and also those who are keen on sampling a range of exotic Konkan delicacies stretching from Goa to Mangalore. One must also taste the unique seafood platter available in the restaurant. Veggies need not be disappointed as the food fest has recipes that cater to their taste buds as well.


According to Satish Kumar, Director, Kubay, "The chosen recipes reflect the true diversity of Konkan cuisine. We have also selected exotic ones that Bangaloreans have not been treated to before and the combination is sure to gel with the food loving Bangaloreans. The food festival done under a new management that recently took over also is in line with Kubay's positioning as a boutique coastal cuisine restaurant that is cosy and friendly."


All food lovers are requested to inform the restaurant in advance for dishes like live crabs and lobsters to avoid disappointment. It is also advised to book a table in advance by calling 41105221 to ensure you have the table ready for you to directly get onto the food and not wait. The food fest is alacarte and the gravies are made available in typical Manglorean style.
