Awards ki Khoj...Patli Gali Association

Its truly hilarious. A friend in advertising role lets me in on a lil secret: December is the month of the year when all the nominations/candidature for all advertising awards are filed for. So, a lot of ad agencies try to sneak in even the shabbiest of their works. Such works are considered as the 'Patli Gali' (literally translated: 'narrow lane') category of work in the industry parlance.

Really kicks some media ass. Read it at leisure..

More Dough from Google Inc.!

Recently, I received my third cheque from Google. This is for being a user of Adsense programme. Earlier too, I had written about my first Adsense cheque. All three cheques have been in the range of 100-110 USD. [Fourth one is already 33% on its way!] What's even better?: From second cheque onwards, Google have started paying in Indian Rupees. So, no long wait for the moolah to be credited in your account! Oh Google, how we all love you!

Dec 23rd: K# is jammin at Barista!

"Its our annual Christmas jam session . . by popular demand we're going public this time. So be there and bring a Santa hat.

K# is Jude Lazaro, Jacob Ninan, Mark Lazaro, Robin Colaco and Sam Pereira. A weird mix of odd characters. . . a choir conductor, a death metal fan , an eccentric guitarist cum mathematician, a rock vocalist and a theatre person. But we put our differences aside to meet on a common plane - to sing pure 4 part male harmony.

Merry Christmas !!!!!!!!

We are starting at 7 but come early and grab a chair! Barista – HMV House, St Mark’s Road."

Ciy-wise Bloggers headcount: Which is the biggest of them all?

Blogger, blogger on the wall; Who's the biggest of them all? This is the question some people seem to be asking with reference to the geographical distribution of bloggers in India. The Daily News Analysis reports (Dec 06, 2005) that Chennai has the largest number of bloggers. I say No to that in the DNA article. Not that it matters, but I believe Bangalore has most bloggers.
