New Year Concert at Guruskool Music


"Dear Friends,

To welcome the new year of 2006 we are privileged to have with us Srinibas Satpathy, Bansuri player of the Banaras Gharana, a child prodigy who has performed in prestigious music festivals in India like the Vasantahabba and toured extensively abroad accompanied on Tabla by Raju Kulkarni.

Performing by firelight at the open air amphitheatre at Guruskool, 31st Dec 2005 ,8.30 pm onwards.

You are invited with family and friends.

Directions to Guruskool: The Music Farm is a lush 3 acre space on the banks of the Kumudavathi creek on the outskirts of Bangalore with art and life support facilitiesneeded for creativity to flow

From Bangalore, India, if you are travelling by your own vehicle, get on to the Tumkur (NH4) Highway, travel about 25 Kms., then turn left at the Mangalore Turnoff, and you will have to take care to catch the road going right about 300 mts from here. Follow this road for 5 kms, it will take you over a bridge, take a left turn about 300 mts from this point through the Moodala Palya Village and you will reach Guruskool at the end of a 500 mts dirt track."
