As we have informed in our previous message, we have only deferred Dandeli trek/rafting of 29/30 nov08 for time being and not cancelled.instead we have arranged a forest trek near Virajpet of Coorg dist. the proposed trek route passes through dense forest with rich flora and fauna and this is an unexplored trek route. the nature of trek is moderate. the cost of this trek is rs1500/per person which includes travell by bus upto Virajpet and by jeep or available mode of transport till the beginning place of trek,simple veg food,available sharing accomodation with minimum basic facilities only as provided by the forest dept,trekking charges,forest entry,guide charges and other misc expenses. only interested persons who are willing to face any difficulties/ ready to trek with minimum facilities may register their names by paying full cash payment. as we have to reserve/book to and fro bus tickets, interested friends who wish to join to this trek are requested to make advance payment of rs1000/before tuesday 25th nov 08. as we have obtained permission for 10 members,really interested friends are requested to make advance payment at the earliest but before 25th nov08.please note that smoking and use of alcohol is not permitted during the programme period. the trek route is as per the guidelines of forest dept and subject to change depends upon the circumstances in the safety interest of the participants. for any clarifications and other details of this trek please contact mobile no 9480453480/94481267 61.
