Venue: Institute of Agricultural Technologists (IAT) Queens ' Road, Bengaluru

The films to be screened at TFSA 08 will include the winner of the Ram Bahadur Trophy for Best Film, Ironeaters by Bangladeshi filmmaker Shaheen Dill-Riaz. The Film South Asia jury chaired by Bombay based filmmaker Saeed Mirza, in its citation, said that the Ironeaters was selected "for its gritty, humane and shocking storytelling of migrant workers in the ship-breaking industry of Chittagong …"

Other films to be screened at the festival include Chandra Siddan's Remembrance of Things Present (Winner of the Second Best Film Award at FSA), Sara Singh's The Sky Below and Dipesh Kharel's A Life with Slate (both joint winners of the Best Debut Film Award).
