Greetings!

 

As per our conversation. we are please to inform you that  Commonwealth Youth Games Pune, in association with, Exhibitions India Group, is organising the 2nd SFAL Expo 2008 at the C.O.E.P Grounds, in Pune, Maharashtra to coincide with the III Commonwealth Youth Games. The fair dates will be 13-16 October 2008.

 

SFAL Expo 2008 will have its business hours from 11:00 - 17:00hrs, and its public hours from 17:00hrs - 21:00hrs.

 

The III Commonwealth Youth Games will be held in Pune from the 12 - 18 October 2008. Over 1,300 athletes and 350 officials from 71 countries will participate in the Youth Games. The Games will involve 9 disciplines - Athletics, Badminton, Boxing, Shooting, Swimming, Table Tennis, Tennis, Weightlifting and Wrestling.

 

Apart from the presence of the athletes, professional support staff, team officials, and The Games Technical Conduct Officials, there will be key representatives from the National and International Federations along with representatives from both the print and electronic media.

 

The Commonwealth Youth Games are an extremely significant event for India as they will serve as a platform to identify India's medal winning potential athletes for the Commonwealth Games in Delhi in 2010.

 

With New Delhi set to become only the third city from the developing world to host the Commonwealth Games in 2010, the focus on sports, fitness, the outdoors and wellness is assuming greater and growing importance, as the industries of tomorrow.

 

With CYGPune set to organize the 2nd edition of SFAL Expo 2008 in association with EIPL, the exhibition will provide the participants with access to a business environment comprising distributors, professionals, the commercial and semi-commercial trade, institutional buyers, and the real estate industries, and, end-users.

 

SFAL Expo 2008 will have 4 exhibit groups. They are as follows:

SPORTS INDIA - An end-to-end trade showcase for the sports industry, Sports India will provide a comprehensive look at the manufacturing process for sports goods and equipment, sporting apparel and footwear items with key sectional features on Golf, Sports Infrastructure, and Sports Medicine.

FITNESS INDIA - Fitness India will provide a platform for trade for fitness and aerobic equipment manufacturers and health clubs. The equipment section will be supported by a strong nutrition segment comprising dietary, energy and health foods, drinks and dietary supplements, as well as dieticians.

ADVENTURE INDIA - India stands at the epicenter for corporates and tourists coming from all across the world seeking the thrill of adventure sports. The exhibits will encompass aero sports, water sports, motor sports, and terrestrial sports, as well as emerging sports like equestrian and polo that are presently attracting huge interest, as well as outdoor accessories, clothing, equipment, and footwear.

LEISURE INDIA - Leisure India will provide a platform for trade for spas / wellness resorts including personal and professional care products and services; Healing systems - Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy; Luxury equipment & furnishing suppliers.
