Jun 24: The Invisible River in London
"Before their departure for London , the 12-person company of Artistes' Repertory Theatre are presenting The Invisible River by Gautam Raja.

A bacteria ridden sample of Ganga water clears, as if by magic, in a few hours. Uma, the scientist, is intensely curious and Padma, the politician, sets her sights on this new found source of power. For others living on the banks of the holy river in holy Allahabad , life goes on as usual...or does it?

With solid scientific advice from Dr. Mukund Thattai of NCBS, Gautam Raja has created a play that will keep you pondering the plot long after you leave the theatre.
The Invisible River, directed by Ruchika Chanana is at Chowdiah Memorial Hall on Tuesday, 24 June at 8.00 P.M. The company proceeds to London for performances at the Nehru Centre and at the Lilian Baylis Theatre.
