Feb 16-18: Camping and cold blood 

Very Niche! Rare kinda programme!!


"SOME CAMPING AND SOME COLD BLOOD!

The program will run as a residential program from the 16th - 18th of Feb. We will leave Bangalore on the 16th at 6AM and head to Hunsur where we will camp and return on the 18th by 8.30 p.m (2 nights and 3 days).

The experience will include:
1. Spotting and identifying reptiles and amphibians.
2. Basic amphibian and reptile handling skills.
3. Natural History and behaviour of herpetofauna.
4. Field Techniques in Herpetology.
5. Working at Night.
6. Presentations by Gerry

This is definitely meant for folks who have an interest in the subject already. The program promises numerous highs and many first time experiences while Gerry shares his vast experience with you.

Species we will encounter are:
1. Spectacled Cobras
2. Various water snakes
3. Numerous frogs
4. Numerous lizards
5. Rat Snakes

We can never be certain of what we'll see but there is a very high chance of us also seeing russell's vipers, chameleons, other snakes and many others at this place. It's loaded!

Cost of the program:
Rs.4725/- including taxes. If you are a student we offer you a discounted rate of Rs.3675/- including taxes

This would include:
Transport from Bangalore to Hunsur on the 16th and return from Hunsur to Bangalore on the 18th February evening.
Accomodation for 2 nights in tents
Food for 3 days (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
Faculty and program costs.
