Greetings from the Hemophilia Federation (India) !!

It is with great pride and pleasure that the Hemophilia Federation ( India) presents a musical evening with Shaan on 11 th Jan 2007 in aid of Hemophilia patients at 'Sports Complex Premises' of St.John's Hospital, Sarjapur Road, Bangalore.

'Shaan', a young, talented and a popular singer, began his career by singing AD jingles as a child in 1995. His first release became an instantaneous hit among the public. Apart from his albums, Shaan has sung vocals for various Bollywood films. He had been the host of the television show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, on Zee TV, which won the Music Programme of the Year award at the Indian Telly Awards in 2003. Shaan is the Brand Ambassador of HFI and is doing this show free of cost for the benefit of the people suffering with hemophilia.

"Shaan Nite" is dedicated to and in aid of persons with Hemophilia who battle with pain and trauma on a day to day basis. Lack of awareness, paucity of funds makes the patient struggle on a personal, social and financial front.

The Hemophilia Federation (India), has always strived to relieve and support its members in every way possible by giving timely Medical, Financial and Psychosocial help. Hemophilia Federation ( India) is a self-help non-profit NGO run by Persons with Hemophilia themselves, with help from medical fraternity. Established in 1983, today it has a network of 4 Regional Offices, 63 Chapters with over 12000 members and a Special Needs Cell for Persons with Hemophilia who have tested HIV/ HCV positive. It represents India as National Member Organization at the World Federation of Hemophilia, based in Canada and also works in close collaboration with World Health Organization and NACO, especially in the area of Safety Vs. Supply of blood products.

As we continue with our work, we hope that you will join us in our mission.
