Sep16/17: Dhwani'06 - Third BKF (Bangalore Kidney Foundation) Mallikarjun Masur Music Festival
Mansur Music Festival Dhwani will be held on Saturday / Sunday the
16th & 17th of September 2006 at Sivarathreeswara Hall, JSS
Auditorium, 1st Main, 8th Block, Jayanagar, Bangalore. The artistes
who have confirmed participation are Pt. Vishwamohan Bhat, Gundecha
Brothers, Dr. N Rajam, Smt. Vasundhara Komakalimath, Pt. Venkatesh
Kumar & Pt. Rajashekar Mansur.
This mailer is to give you advance information so that you will find
it convenient to attend the music festival and make it a success.
We are fixing the entry charges at Rs. 49 per session (2 artistes)
so that a large number of Hindustani music lovers & students of
music can participate & enjoy. We also have a limited number of
complimentary passes for sabhas and sangeeth schools so that they
can distribute the same to music enthusiasts and music students.
BKF is a charitable trust providing one free dialysis a day in three
dialysis centres in Bangalore. The BKF Pt. Mallikarjun Mansur Annual
Hindustani Music Festival is a tribute to Pt. Mallikarjun Mansur who
was a patient in the BKF Chande Nephro Urology Centre, in
Padmanabhanagar, Bangalore. His first music performance after
recovery was a free performance in benefit of BKF.
