Salwa Judum and Peoples Struggle : Adivasi group from Chattisgarh is in bangalore 


"Committee for the Assistance of Tribals Affected by Salwa Judum (CATAS)

Since the launch of the Salwa Judum campaign in June 2005 in Chattisgarh,
according to official estimates alone approximately 50,000 adivasis have
been displaced. People from over 420 villages are living as refugees in
pathetic conditions in temporary camps.

To understand the violence and displacement faced by adivasis at the hands
of the state-run Salwa Judum campaign in the Chattisgarh region, join us on
