About Yamini
Yamini represents an attempt by SPICMACAY and IIM Bangalore to promote classical music amongst the students of Bangalore. Yamini is a manifestation of the awe inspiring variety of Indian Classical music and dance – an event that brings together the best artists across various genres of Indian classical music and dance.

Yamini symbolizes the essence of the night. Malkauns the early night raga soothes souls stressed out with the efforts of the day, and also symbolises dusk. Bhairavi, the early morning raga, heralds the coming of a new dawn, and awakens the mind, body and soul to face the new challenges of a new day and a new world.
