Indu Navar, a native of Bangalore, will be speaking about these exciting 4½ years at Serus and how the company bucked the trend of raising VC money and built the startup the old-fashioned way - with hard work, commitment and above all, by providing fundamental value to customers in an underserved market. Ms. Navar has worked with companies such as Healtheon (acquired by WebMD), Silicon Graphics, Black and White Software (acquired by Segue) and NASA, among others.

The presentation will be followed by a panel discussion with Ms Indu Navar and Vijaya Verma, founder of Alopa Networks, on different approaches to building a startup. The panel will be moderated by Revathi Kasturi, President, Tarang Software Technologies.
