Inviting one and all to be a part of Pankaj's tour of Hyderabad, Bangalore and New Delhi. Pankaj is a composer and multi-instrumentalist. As a part of his 3 city tour which begins in mid October, 2005 he will be performing at different venues in Hyderabad, Bangalore and New Delhi. He is a solo artiste whose compositions carry their own rhythm and sound, imbibed with harmony. They present a lush arrangement of orchestral instruments along with solos on keyboards, percussion and drums. The compositions lend an energetic performance that is powerful, vibrant and passionately tantalizing.

Pankaj was born in Dhanbad. His exposure to music goes back to his childhood days. He started singing and playing tabla, naal, congas, marching drums at an early age. His quest for expanding his musical horizons led him to join Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya, Khairagarh, from where he graduated in Indian Classical Music in 1993. Over the years Pankaj has been his own teacher, relentlessly composing, shaping his own style and molding it in ways that best reflect him.

Interestingly most of his compositions have symbolic names which do not convey any particular meaning. To this he says," I want listening to my music to be a completely free process with no prelaid directions....let the person go where the music takes him or let him take the music where he wants to go'.
