Air Deccan is getting another Airbus (A320) soon. And they've decided to ply it on the most requested Bangalore-Kolkata-Bangalore and Mumbai-Kolkata-Mumbai sectors. The bookings opened today just in time for Durga Puja and Diwali festivals. The travel dates open are 05th Oct, 2005 to Jan 31st, 2006. Here are the screen shots of no-flights to these flights being available to actually 1 Rupee tickets available on random dates. Hope some needy travelers got these real inexpensive fares.
Bangalore-Kolkata (and also Mumbai-Kolkata) sector is almost a monolpoly of the incumbents. Now look out for fare-war and as usual the dropping of fares by the incumbents, just like they have been doing wherever Air Deccan has entered. And market is not sleeping: Jet's stock is getting butchered (graphics version), hovering around its IPO price.
