With a little help from my (online) friends..

Apologies to The Fab Four, but the paradim has changed. Now its more like: "I get by with a little help from my online friends". Panchalee Thakur does an article on the topic in today's Bangalore Times. My only worry being online, as I say in the piece, is spam and MLM (multi-level marketing) people. I must add, Orkut did me a lot more good, than Ryze... I met a lot of college friends online, who helped me, and gave a lot of moral support, when I came to the USA...

Debate on Ryze vs. Orkut goes on.

I think its the alignment of expectations with the majority of people on that network is what makes a particular networking site tick for you.

Try out LinkedIn sometime. Anurag you are already there i guess.
